Römerberg – This old market square sustained much damage during the Second World War but still has some fantastic buildings from the times of the Roman Empire. The building of most interest is probably the town hall which dates back to 1405.
Alte Oper – The old opera house is only a reconstruction of the original but it is still an extraordinary sight.
Sachsenhausen – Located on the south bank of Frankfurt, this area allows you to experience traditional Germany. Its many bars and restaurants have an incredible atmosphere as well as good food and drink.
Historisches Museum – This museum gives an insight into Frankfurt’s rich and varied history. There is also a children’s museum which the kids will love.
Kleinmarkthalle – Located close to the Römerberg this bustling market must be experienced on a trip to the city. The Kleinmarkthalle offers a wide variety of products and has been running for hundreds of years.
